Impact Reports

2016 Impact Report

The 2016 impact report, themed “In Service of People and Place,” is illustrative of our work in 2016 to improve the wellbeing of residents and the places they call home.  This year saw learning exchanges with resident leaders who met to share best practices in neighborhood revitalization, a push for proactive rental housing preservation in Detroit, Michigan, and the 2016 Reclaiming Vacant Properties Conference (RVP). RVP brought over 1,100 leaders from 37 states to Baltimore, Maryland, and was our very first conference that featured pre-conference service projects. Atlanta, Georgia; Huntington, West Virginia; and Flint, Michigan, each deployed fresh approaches to help stabilize, and revitalize, struggling neighborhoods.
