The CenterState Corporation for Economic Opportunity (CenterState CEO) is pleased to host a free land banking workshop on Tuesday, February 21. The workshop, open to anyone across the state, will help local government officials and community development professionals gain a deeper understanding of land banking’s benefits, and how they can help New York communities manage the challenges of vacant properties, as spelled out under the newly-passed New York State Land Bank Act. The event will also help inform those determining whether land banking is right for them.

The workshop will feature national land banking expert and President of the Center for Community Progress Dan Kildee and other staff from Community Progress, as well as representatives from the New York State Empire State Development Corporation, and other experts.
