Eliza McDermott is the Development Associate at the Center for Community Progress. Her passion for community development and neighborhood stabilization first grew while serving as the Lutheran Volunteer Corps member and Development Assistant at the Public Justice Center in Baltimore, MD. She has also proudly raised resources for fighting systemic poverty and discrimination at the Francis D. Murnaghan, Jr. Appellate Advocacy Fellowship and additionally had the opportunity to help combat homelessness at the Baltimore-based United Ministries, Inc.
Eliza received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from St. Olaf College in 2012. A native of Sagamore, MA, she has now happily made Baltimore, MD her home.
